Brueckner Wins 600m, Polars Set 3 School Records at Ole Opener

Northfield, Minn. - The Polars track and field teams competed at the Ole Opener on Saturday and three Polars set school records.

Ruth Brueckner won the 600m run with a time of 1:43.36. Ella Dufault took 4th in the 800m run set a new school record time of 2:22.03. Camille Ring ran the 60m and the 60m hurdles and took 7th and 3rd in those respective events. Mia Arroyo took 4th in the 1 Mile run.

For the Crown men Alexander Burnham set school records in the shotput and the weight throw. Austin Carlson took 3rd place in the 1 mile run and in the 800m run. Casey Struthers took 7th in the men's 400m run.

The Polars will return to Northfield, Minnesota for the St. Olaf Invitational next weekend starting on Friday, January 24th.
