Minneapolis. Minn. - The Polars men's basketball team faced off with North Central on Saturday and fell by a score of 99-75.
The Rams jumped out in front 16-5 to start the game and continued to stretch their lead as they led by as much as 22 points in the first half and the first half score settled at 47-26 in favor of North Central. Crown was able to cut the Rams lead to under twenty points but ultimately could not get back into the contest and the Rams pulled out the win 99-75.
John Grigsby scored 29 points in the game and added 6 rebounds.
Tyrus Buckner scored 15 points and
Tristan Youngblood scored 10 points. As a team the Polars shot 41.5% from the field going 27-65 and 31.8% from three point range going 7-22.
The Polars fall to 9-6 on the season and 2-2 in UMAC play and will next take on Minnesota Morris on the road on Wednesday, January 22nd at 5:30pm.
