Polars Women Set School Record for Team Low Round, Golf Competes at MLC Invite

Buffalo Lake, Minn. - The Polars golf teams competed at the MLC Invite on Saturday in their final event prior to the UMAC Championships.

The Crown women had a record day combining for a team score of 339 which is a new team school record low round and the best team score of the event. Kendall Clark and Shelby Cash both scored 80 in the round. Brynn Gustafson scored 84. Ashley Larson and Allie Johnson rounded out the Crown competitors. 

The Crown men finished with a team score of 358 at the MLC Invite. Nathan Halseth had the best score from the Crown team with a score of 85. Titus Wookey scored an 89. Steven Petkau and Grant Oakland rounded out the Polars competitors.

Polars golf will finish up their season at the UMAC Championships starting next Thursday, October 3rd at 11am. Three rounds of play will wrap up on Saturday, where the the champions of the UMAC will be crowned.
