Buffalo Lake, Minn. - The Women's Golf Team traveled to Oakdale Golf Course in Buffalo Lake to compete in the MLC Invite, where they finished in second place.

Lexi Thomas was able to catch Kendall Clark on Saturday, tieing her for the teams best score. Thomas and Clark also tied for second place in the tournament shooting an 84 (+12). Shelby Cash finished in the top ten shooting an 88 (+16). Another top twenty finish for Ashley Larson, and Allie Johnson finishing just three strokes behind Larson help lift the Polars to yet again another second place finish. Consistent second place finishes for the Polars have seen their deficit from first place continue to shrink leading up to the UMAC Championship.

The both the men's and women's golf teams will compete Tuesday, September 30 in the rescheduled President's Cup against North Central. The men tee off at 10:00am, and the women tee off at 11:30 am at Island View Golf Course in Waconia.
