Becker, Minn. - The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference held their preview golf event on Thursday at Pebble Creek and Shelby Cash highlighted the group as the low medalist on the women's side.

Cash shot and 83 (+11) and showed up down the stretch of her round finishing with three straight par's to earn the top spot. Cash won by just one stroke and contributed to the Polars women's second place finish as the event. Lexi Thomas and Kendall Clark finished 7th and 9th with scores of 90 (+18) and 91 (+19). Brynn Gustafson placed 11th, Allie Johnson and Ashley Larson rounded out the Polars group of competitors. The team scored 356 (+68) just eight strokes behind the leaders.

The Crown men were led by Adam Thomas and TItus Wookey who both shot an 84 (+12). Nathan Halseth and Ryan Kardell finished with scores of 86 (+14). Grant Oakland and Steven Petkau rounded out the Polars group of competitors. As a team the Polars scored 340 (+52) which was good enough for 5th place at the event.

The Polars golf teams will next head to Morton, Minnesota for a Dual with Martin Luther College at the Dacotah Ridge Golf Club on Wednesday, September 18th at 11am.
