South Bend, Indiana - The Polars Men's and Women's Golf teams competed at the NCCAA North Central Regional Championships early this week.
After a two day event for both golf teams
Kendall Clark finished with the best score for the Crown women with a two day total of 161 (+17) as she finished with round scores of 81 on day one and 80 on day two.
Shelby Cash finished with the next best score with a two round total of 179 (+35).
Lexi Thomas improved upon her first round score and dropped five strokes to finish with a 185 (+41).
Brynn Gustafson and
Ashley Larson rounded out the Polars female competitors. As a team the Crown women placed 8th of 11 competing teams.
The Crown men were led by
Titus Wookey and
Adam Thomas as they finished with scores of 164 (+20) and 166 (+22) respectively.
Nathan Halseth improved upon his first round score by finished the second round with a score of 83 contributing to his total of 169 (+25).
Steven Petkau and Ryan Kardel rounded out the competing Polars. As a team Crown finished 10th out of 11 total teams.
The next action for Polars golf will be this Thursday, September 12th at the UMAC Preview with tee times beginning at 10:00 AM at Pebble Creek Golf Club in Becker, Minnesota.
