St. Bonifacius, MN - Crown College Athletics is excited to announce that
Tristan Camp was named Head Assistant Baseball Coach.
Tristan competed for the Polars in the 2024 season and led Crown to their second UMAC Tournament Championship and NCAA Regional tournament bid. Camp stacked up the accolades as he earned 1st team All-UMAC and UMAC Tournament MVP. Camp finished his senior campaign with an ERA of 4.45, 5 Wins in 62.2 innings pitched, and totaled 75 strikeouts. Prior to finishing his collegiate career Camp played at Arkansas State and Mars Hill University.
"I want to thank President Denton, Director of Athletics Steve Tebbs, and Coach Sedbrook for allowing me to join the coaching staff. I deeply appreciate their confidence in my abilities, and I am eager to bring my experience and passion for baseball to Crown College as a part of the coaching staff this year. It was a pleasure to play under Coach Sedbrook and Coach Kraft this past season to finish out my playing career and now I look forward to working side by side with Coach Sedbrook. They have both been a big influence in my life and the pursuit of my Master of Arts in Sports Coaching and Administration."
Through the last five years, he studied alongside Pitching Coach Andrew Schwaab. Schwaab, a former minor league pitcher from St. Louis, MO, operated a throwing program out of O'Fallon, MO. Tristan assisted in many aspects of the throwing program including teaching of proper throwing mechanics with small groups.

Outside of baseball Coach Camp enjoys spending time with his family and being outdoors hunting or fishing. He is originally from Montgomery City, Missouri and currently resides in Waconia, Minnesota.
