St. Bonifacius, Minn. - Crown College Athletics has announced that Head Women's Basketball Coach
Bridgeport Tusler has resigned.
Tusler led the Polars women in the 2022-23 season to 14 wins and their first winning record since joining the NCAA in 2008.Coach Tusler led Crown for two seasons and totaled 21 wins, 4 UMAC All-Conference selections, and a 4th place finish at the NCCAA DII National Championship.
"I want to thank Bridgeport for his time and effort that he dedicated to Polars Women's Basketball during his tenure," Director of Athletics Steve Tebbs said, "We wish him the best in all his future endeavors."
A national search for a new head coach will begin immediately. Assistant Coach Mo Bullock will assume all day-to-day operations of the program until a new coach is identified.
