Ellendale, N.D. — The women's basketball team met North Central for the third time this season in the NCCAA Division II Regional Tournament on Wednesday, falling 58–40 in the North Region title game.
Brayli Reimer set the tone early, scoring 8 first‑quarter points to help Crown take a 12–10 lead after one. North Central responded with a decisive second quarter, catching fire offensively and building a 28–18 halftime advantage. The Rams continued to pull away in the third, stretching the margin to 18 heading into the fourth. Crown held the scoring even in the final period, but the deficit was too large to overcome as North Central secured the 58–40 win.
Reimer finished with a game‑high 18 points on 7‑of‑15 shooting and added 5 rebounds. Morgan Bednarek posted another double‑double with 17 points and 15 rebounds. The duo combined for 35 of Crown's 40 points.
Crown College will host the NCCAA Division II National Tournament beginning Wednesday, March 11. As the host institution, the Polars receive an automatic bid despite the regional loss.
