St. Bonifacius, Minn. — Crown College Athletics has announced that Head Softball Coach Ryan Borde has resigned due to health reasons.

Borde started at Crown early this past spring semester and was at the helm for the 2023-24 season for the Polars.

"I want to thank Ryan Borde for his time and effort that he dedicated to Polars Softball during his time here," Athletics Director Steve Tebbs said. "We wish him nothing but the best as he begins his next chapter. Our program at Crown has everything it needs to be successful as we begin the search for our next head coach. The future is bright for Polars Softball."
