Softball Falls to Yellowjackets

Superior, WI - Late offensive surge not enough for Polars.

Crown traveled up north for their final regualar season UMAC series against the UW-Superior Yellowjackets. Emmy Romportl jump started the offense with a lead off double and was singled in by Maria Lilenthal. Yellowjackets offense got hot and put up two big innings to leap in front of the Polars. Sophie Monsman led off the 3rd with a double and later scored on a throwing error. Following two more runs scored by Superior, Crown made a push in the top of the 5th with an RBI double from Lilienthal and a 2-run single from Brooklyn Ocker. Romportl would end the day 3-3 at the plate in the lead off spot for Crown.

Crown will face Superior two more times tomorrow at 11am and 1pm to complete the series.
