Polars Track and Field Competes at Hamline Invite

St. Paul, MN - The Polars track and field teams competed at the first outdoor meet of the season on Saturday at the Hamline Invite.

For the Polars women Camille Ring set new outdoor school records in the 100m dash with a time of 12.80 and in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 15.60. Gabby Fawcett set school records in the shot put with a distance of 9.77m and the hammer throw with a distance of 26.40m.

Ella Dufault set a new school record with a time of 4:54.36 in the 1,500m run. Brayli Reimer earned a school record with a time of 1:05.94 in the 400m hurdles. 

For the Crown men Caden Swoboda took 9th with an 800m run time of 2:00:00. Steven Petkau competed in the high jump and took 12th. A number of other Polars men competed in the meet with 6 different Polars racing in the 100m dash.

The Polars will next compete at the Bethel Invitational next Saturday, April 13th in Arden Hills, Minnesota.
