Ellendale, ND - The Polars Men's Basketball team faced off with the Faith Baptist Eagles on Friday afternoon and came out on top 85-54.
After back to back buckets from
Micah Ladd,
Cade Carroll, and
Tyrus Buckner Crown found themselves 15-5 after 6 minutes of play. The Eagles cut the Polars lead to 9 points multiple times but Crown found a way to maintain and extend the lead as a host of Crown players took the floor and held the lead at 45-30 at halftime. The second half saw Crown extend their lead to 30 points and they never looked back cruising to an 85-54 victory.
Tyrus Buckner scored 19 points going 7-10 from the field. Both
Micah Ladd and
Carter Behne scored double digits with 10 points each.
PJ Ebeling led the team in rebounds with 9 boards.
Cade Carroll and Jacob masek both totaled 6 rebounds.
As a team the Polars shot 49.2% from the field going 32-65 and 36.4% from three point range going 8-22. Crown totaled 44 points in the paint and 35 bench points in the contest. Fourteen players saw the floor for Crown.
Crown will next take on the winner of North Central and Trinity Bible at 4pm tomorrow Saturday, March 8th in the NCCAA North Region Final.
