Minneapolis, MN - The Polars Men's Basketball team faced off with Kansas Christian and came out on top 87-69.
Crown jumped out to an early 22-6 lead in the first 8 minutes of play behind a number of buckets from
Cade Carroll. The Polars extended their lead to over 20 points in the first half and led by a score 42-22 at the end of one half. The second half saw Crown maintain their large lead and fend off a late offensive push to take the win 87-69.
Carroll totaled 31 points and 17 rebounds leading the Crown offensive attack.
Tyrus Buckner scored 19 points and added 8 rebounds.
Micah Ladd and
Tristan Youngblood both had 11 points. Crown shot 42.6% from the field and 36.4% from three point range.
The Polars move on to the semifinal of the NCCAA DII National tournament and will face off with Spurgeon College tomorrow, March 15th at 5pm.
