St. Bonifacius, MN - Polars Track and Field had 6 student-athletes named to the UMAC Indoor All-Conference list as announced by the conference on Thursday.
The Polars men had 2 all-conference athletes, those being
Caden Swoboda and
Steven Petkau. Swoboda earned a 1st place finish in the 800 meter run with a school record breaking time of 2:02.10. Petkau took 2nd in the triple jump with a distance of 13.49m a new school record earning his place on the Indoor All-UMAC list.Â
The Polars women had 4 all-conference athletes, those being
Brayli Reimer,
Camille Ring,
Ella Dufault, and
Ruth Brueckner. Ring earned the honors for her top 2 finishes in the 60 meter dash, 60 meter hurdles, 200 meter dash, and the distance medley relay. Dufault earned the honors after her top 2 finishes in the 800 meter run, 1 mile run, 3000 meter run, and the distance medley relay. Both Brueckner and Reimer earned the honors after their part in the Distance Medley Relay.
The Polars women earned the Women's Team Sportsmanship Award as voted on by the conference members.
