St. Bonifacius, Minn. - The Polars women's basketball team faced off with Maranatha Baptist on Friday night and came out on top 101-26 setting the program record for points in a game in the NCAA-era.

The Polars were ready to play from the tip as Crown took a 9-2 lead halfway through the first quarter. Crown finished the quarter on a five to three stretch and held the 14-5 lead. The second quarter was all Polars as the Crown ladies tallied 30 points and dominated defensively only allowing 2 points. From that point forward the Polars cruised to the victory 101-26.

Brayli Reimer had a standout performance just shy of a double double as she tallied 24 points, 9 steals, 7 assists, 4 rebounds, and 1 block. Reimer went 10-12 from the field in an excellent shooting performance.
Sydney Cotten totaled 15 points and added 5 steals.
Emma Kingsley totaled 11 points and 9 rebounds. As a team the Polars went 41-73 from the field shooting 56.2% and 12-28 from three-point range shooting 42.9%.Â

The Polars earn their first win of the season and the first career win for first year Head Coach
David Pederson and move to 1-7 on the season. Crown will next return home to take on the College of St. Scholastica at 3pm on Saturday, December 14th.
