St. Bonifacius, Minn. - The Polars women's basketball team faced off with St. Scholastica in a non-conference game on Saturday and fell by a score of 71-28.
The Polars scored on their first two shots of the game with
Jacee Glasgow and
Isabelle Sager scoring baskets to tie the score at 4-4 after the first three minutes. The Saints closed out the first quarter on a 17-2 run and continued the momentum through the rest of the first half to take the 46-10 lead into halftime. The Saints went on to win the game 71-28.
Jacee Glasgow tallied 8 points and 5 rebounds.
Emma Kingsley led with 6 rebounds.Â
The Polars fall to 1-8 on the season and will next head on the road to take on Augsburg on Monday, December 30th at 3pm.
