St. Paul, Minn. - The Polars women's basketball team battled with Augsburg on Monday in a neutral site contest and lost 48-35.
The first quarter saw both teams score back and forth as the score was even at the end 10-10. An 11-5 run by the Auggies gave them the lead going into the end of the first half as Augsburg led 29-22.
The second half saw Crown cut the Auggies lead down to just two points with under two minutes to go in the third quarters. The fourth quarter didn't go the Polars way and Crown fell by a score of 48-35.
Brayli Reimer led the scoring with 11 points and added a double double with 10 rebounds. Sydney Cotten scored 7 points. 
The Polars fall to 1-9 and will next take on Nebraska Wesleyan tomorrow December 31st at 1pm.
