Crown College Athletics

David Pederson begins his 1st season as the Head Coach of Crown College Women's Basketball.

Coach Pederson comes into Crown with a decades worth of experience in the UMAC. Pederson spent seven total years as a Men's Basketball Assistant Coach at the University of Northwestern St. Paul.. During that time, Pederson helped guide the Eagles to multiple UMAC Championships, and NCAA D3 National Tournament Appearances. Pederson was on the staff for the 2021 NCCAAA D1 National Championship. Pederson then switched over to Women's Basketball as the Associate Head Coach for the University of Northwestern St. Paul in 2023-2024 season. He also coached two season at the University of Dubuque.

• Crown Women's Basketball has four core values:
  • 1) Relationships: We will be more than a four year commitment. We care about our players beyond Crown College.
  • 2) Hard work: The goals we have set for ourselves are hard, but it's suppose to be hard. The hard is what makes it great.
  • 3) Humility: Humility in our program means embracing your role.
  • 4) Thankfulness: We are thankful to be student-athletes at a school like Crown College. This thankfulness gives us the freedom to play basketball with no pressure.
