Becker, Minn. - The Poalrs golf teams hit the links at Pebble Creek over the last three days for the UMAC Championship.
For the Crown women
Kendall Clark led the way with a top three finish and round scores of 87, 87, and 89 for a three round total of 263 (+47).
Shelby Cash took 6th with round totals of 89 each round and a three round total of 267 (+51).
Brynn Gustafson,
Lexi Thomas, and
Ashley Larson all finished within the top 18 players. As a team they placed 2nd with a team score of 1106 (+242) tying the 2023 team for the programs best finish in the UMAC Championships by the Crown women's golf team.
For the Crown men
Adam Thomas placed 10th overall with a three day total of 243 (+27).
Titus Wookey and
Nathan Halseth placed 24th and 27th respectively.
Steven Petkau,
Ryan Kardell, and
Grant Oakland rounded out the Polars competitors. As a team they finished 5th overall with a team score of 1009 (+145).
This wraps up the season for the Polars men. After earning an at large bid the Polars women will next head to the NCCAA National Championships in Palm Coast, Florida at the Hammock Beach Resort Ocean Course which will tee off on October 21st and finish up on Wednesday, October 23rd.
