St. Bonifacius, Minn. - The Polars women's soccer team took on North Central on Saturday and came out on top 7-0.
Th scoring was early and often for Crown as
Lexi Shreve got it going with her 6th goal on the season in the 3rd minute.
Ashley Pierce added the second goal of the day off an excellent header from
Emma Domka. Crown added 4 more goals going into the half.
Ella Hosmer scored in the 34th minute,
Lexi Shreve scored again in the 35th minute,
Ashley Pierce scored her second goal in the 37th minute, and
Emma Domka took the Polars into the half 6-0 after a great ball in from Pierce.
The second half saw just one goal from either side as
Abigail Shull scored her second goal of the season in the 76th minute and Crown rolled to the 7-0 victory. The Polars totaled 24 shots and outshot the Rams 24-4. Goalkeeper
Rachel Fuller notched 2 saves and yet another clean sheet.
Crown moves to 6-6-2 on the season and 6-2-2 in UMAC play. Next the Polars hit the road to play the top two teams in the conference to close out the season starting with Bethany Lutheran at 7pm on Wednesday, October 30th.
