St. Paul, Minn. - The Polars men's soccer team went on the road Thursday and fell by a score of 2-1 to Hamline.
Crown found the first goal of the contest as
Luke Kamm scored his second goal of the season in the 28th minute. Despite the Polars only having 3 total shots in the first half compared to 21 shots from Hamline, Crown held the 1-0 lead at the half. A number of new Polars saw an opportunity to start in the match.
The second half saw two goals by the Pipers, with them coming in the 62nd and 63rd minutes back to back. The final score read 2-1 as Crown fell in the contest.
Will Parcher played all 90 minutes in goal and racked up 12 saves. Crown did not have a single corner kick in the match.
Crown falls to 8-8 on the season and will next return home this Saturday, October 26th to take on North Central at 11am.
