St. Bonifacius, MN - Six Polars softball players received Easton/NFCA Scholar Athlete Honors on Tuesday for the 2022-23 academic year as announced by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.

The rankings and honors recognize the academic prowess of softball teams across the organization's membership categories. NCAA Division III totaled 2,369 athletes receiving the honor across the country.

To qualify for the award, a student-athlete must achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher for the 2022-23 academic year. The Polars had six total athletes receive that recognition: Kylei Abreo, Ashley Earick, Aletheia Fisher, Emmy Romportl, Elyse Steffen, and Abbey Underdahl.
