St. Bonifacius, MN - Maria Lilienthal once again received recognition for her outstanding season after taking home the UMAC player of the year award she was named NFCA Third Team All-Region.

Maria Lilienthal was awarded Third Team-All Region for Region IX as a catcher. Lilienthal finished the season with a batting average of .461 ranking 43rd in all of NCAA Division III. Lilienthal finished with 53 hits, 10 doubles, 2 triples, and 4 home runs. She also had a slugging percentage of .687. In UMAC play she ranked 3rd in batting average, 2nd in OPS, 5th in hits, 2nd in slugging percentage, and 4th in doubles.
