Dufault Takes First, Polars Run at NCCAA DII Cross Country Championships

Warsaw, IN - The Polars Cross Country teams headed to the NCCAA DII Cross Country Championship races on Friday. The women took home 3rd place and the men placed 5th.

Ella Dufault took home the first place finish as the individual champion with a time of 19:20.40. Anna Anderson Sanchez placed 4th overall with a time of 20:55.60. Abbie Hough, Camille Ring, and Lily Bandy all competed for the Polars women. As a team the Crown women placed 3rd overall in the 5k race.

For the Polars men Caden Swoboda and Andrew Deedon finished 15th and 16th with times of 30:09.50 and 30:16.30 in the 8k race. AJ Anderson Sanchez, Luke Klassen, and Tade Geving rounded out the Polars men. As a team Crown finished 5th overall.
