Box Score Northfield, Minn. - Crown College traveled to Northfield, Minnesota on Monday night to play a nonconference game against the Carleton College Knights.  Tied at 13-13 after the first quarter, Crown had a very poor second quarter being outscored 21-3.  Even though Crown outscored the Knights 23-16 in the fourth, the Storm still lost by a score of 58-46.
Crown struggled shooting the ball in the first half going only 6-26 from the field for a percentage of 23.1%.  By contrast, Crown shot 11-25 for 44% in the second half.  Crown won the rebounding battle narrowly with 37-36, but had eight more turnovers than Carleton.
Desiree Davis had a double double with 15 points and 12 rebounds to go along with four steals.  
Madison Stricklin contributed eight points and four rebounds.
The Storm will continue UMAC play this weekend.
