Game 1 vs SUNY Potsdam -
Emmy Romportl's lead off triple in the bottom of the 1st set the Polars up to score first on
Maria Lilienthal's sacrifice fly. Bears scored a run off an error in the 4th to even it up before Lilienthal's single plated 2 more runs to take the 3-1 lead. Bears looked to rally in the 7th, on an RBI single by Emily Birmingham, but
Brooklyn Riley sealed the game and notched her 5th win of the season.
Game 2 vs Drew University -
Brooklyn Ocker entered the circle for the Polars in game two. Defensive mistakes led to 2 early runs for Drew University. Ocker held them in check until an RBI single and another error led to 3 more runs. Polars offense was not able to produce any runs leading to the first loss of the spring trip.
Crown softball is now 9-3 on the year and will play another pair of games tomorrow at 8am and 12pm CST against University of Pittsburgh at Bradford and Geneva College (PA).
