Naples, FL - Polars continue hot start to the season with two more wins in Florida.
Game 1 vs Saint Joseph - Senior pitcher
Emmy Romportl entered the circle for the Polars. After giving up a single run due to a wild pitch, the veteran settled in and completed the game going all 7 innings and only giving up 2 earned runs.

Brooklyn Ocker, and
Savanna Gumowski all totaled 2 RBIs a piece which led to the 9-2 victory. Stapleton and Ocker added 3 hits to their 2 RBI days, including a triple from Ocker.
Game 2 vs Alfred State College - Both teams' offenses got going right away in game two of the doubleheader for Crown College. After a 5-run top of the 1st for Alfred State,
Maria Lilienthal's 2-run double propelled the Polars to answer back with 4 runs in the bottom half. Ocker tacked on another extra base hit to her day's total in the 4th inning. Her 2-run double pushed the Polars out in front and they never looked back. Gumowski's RBI double in the 6th sealed the win for the Polars as they scored 10 unanswered runs to win 10-5.
Brooklyn Riley now improves to 4-0 on the year in the circle after hurling 6 scoreless innings.
Softball improves to 9-2 on the season and will play another morning doubleheader tomorrow at 8 and 10am CST against SUNY Potsdam and Drew University.
