Cedar Rapids, IA – The Polars' early-season scoring woes continued on Saturday, falling 2-0 to Coe College to close out their Iowa road trip.
Crown found themselves playing from behind early, as Coe's Ian Kearney struck twice in quick succession, netting goals in the 14th and 16th minutes, to give the home team a 2-0 advantage. Despite generating seven shots in the first half, the Polars couldn't break through, and their offensive production stalled completely after halftime, failing to register a shot in the second period.
The loss drops the Polars to 0-2-2, as they look to rebound at home on Wednesday at 7 PM against Hamline University.
