Mankato, MN - Men's soccer drop mid-week match up against the Vikings.
After splitting their first two UMAC matches, the Polars men's soccer team traveled to Mankato for a midweek clash with Bethany Lutheran, a familiar opponent from last year's conference tournament. The match remained tightly contested through the early stages, but the Vikings broke the deadlock in the 20th minute. Both defenses held strong for much of the game, but Bethany added two late goals in the final ten minutes to seal a 3–0 victory and take the first meeting of the season between the two teams.
The Polars will have the weekend off before returning to action on Wednesday, October 1, when they travel to face North Central in Minneapolis.
