Ankeny, IA - Crown volleyball ends the weekend with dominate win versus Maranatha Baptist.
After two tightly contested matches on Friday evening, the Crown College Polars entered Saturday determined to turn things around before heading back home to Minnesota, and they did just that. From the opening whistle, it was all Polars. A complete team effort paved the way to a strong victory, showcasing resilience. Freshman middle Delaney Boone made a big impact at the net, tallying 9 kills and 4 blocks, while Alyssa Heagney contributed 9 assists to help pace the offense.
With the win, Crown builds momentum as they look ahead to UMAC conference play, which begins this Tuesday at 7 p.m. on the road against University of Minnesota Morris.
