St. Peter, Minn. - The Polars tennis teams competed on Friday against Bethany Lutheran. The Crown men won 7-0 and the women lost 7-0.
David Comings and
Matt Comings both won their singles matches in the #1 and #2 slots and their #1 doubles match.
Dawson Richardson and Gavin Luethold won their singles matches in the three and four slots and won the #2 doubles match.
Austin Droeger and
Tyler Kretsinger both won by default in their matches.
Xeng Her and
Marissa Otremba both battled to the third tiebreaker set in their respective singles matches and fell. The Crown women were short a few players and were unable to make anything happen falling 7-0.
The Polars men move to 2-10 and the women to 1-13 on their seasons. The Crown women compete next against Buena Vista on Tuesday, April 8th and the men compete next against UW-Superior on Saturday, April 12th.
