St. Bonifacius, Minn. - The Polars softball team faced of with Maranatha Baptist on Saturday and came out on top 17-1 and 26-0 both in 5 innings.
Crown led from start to finish in both game as
Maria Lilienthal led the Crown offense with 7 RBI's in the two games. Crown had 10 players total multiple hits across the two games and as a team totaled 31 hits in the doubleheader. Lilienthal hit a home run and also tripled. Itzel Vales,

Sydney Gardner, and
Morgan Aylsworth all notched a triple.
Abbie Carroll earned her 6th win of the season and pitched all 5 innings in game one striking out 8 batters and allowing just 1 earned run.
Emmy Romportl pitched a 1 hit shutout in game two striking out 10 batters in the process for her 7th win of the season in the circle.
Crown moves to 13-18 on the season and will next head on the road to take on Martin Luther College for a three game series starting on Friday, April 23rd at 3:30pm.
