St. Paul, Minn. - The Polars baseball team faced off with Bethel in a non-conference game on Wednesday and fell 1-0.
Neither team was able to push across any runs in the first few innings and Crown stranded a few runners in multiple innings. The Royals pushed a run across in the bottom of the 6th inning on a solo home run and Crown could not match with any runs as the Polars fell 1-0. Crown only totaled 7 hits as a team.
John Brew started on the mound and pitched 3 innings allowing just 1 hit.
Jackson Phillipp pitched 2 innings and
Cole Vahovick also pitched 2 innings but gave up the lone run.
Tyler Olson led the offense going 2-4 on the day.
Crown falls to 13-13 on the season and will next take on Northland College in a three game series at home starting on Friday evening.
