St. Paul, Minn. – The Polars women's basketball team faced off with the University of Northwestern on Saturday and fell by a score of 73-57.
The Eagles jumped out in front early in the first quarter and held the 41-21 lead at the end of the half. Jacee Glasgow and Brayli Reimer scored a few baskets to start the third quarter and Crown put together an 18 point third quarter. The Polars outscored the Eagles by seven points in the 4th quarter but Northwestern came out on top.
Isabelle Sager's 11 rebounds gave her a career total of 581 career rebounds passing Desiree Davis for the school record. Brayli Reimer totaled 13 points and 7 rebounds in the contest.
The Polars fall to 4-21 on the season and 3-11 in UMAC play. This concludes the regular season for Crown and will next head to the NCCAA Regional.
