Mankato, Minn. - The Polars women's basketball team faced off with Bethany Lutheran on Saturday and fell 77-51.
The Vikings led after the first quarter 18-9 and stretched the lead to sixteen points early in the second quarter. Crown found some offense but fell behind at the end of the first half 45-16. Crown was able to outscore Bethany Lutheran in both the 3rd and 4th quarters but were unable to mount a comeback and the Vikings came out on top.
Brayli Reimer scored 23 points in an excellent effort also adding 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals.
Sydney Cotten tallied 9 points and
Isabelle Sager led the rebounding with 6 boards.
Crown falls to 2-17 on the season and 1-7 in UMAC play and will return home to face UM-Morris Wednesday, February 5th at 7:15pm.
