St. Bonifacius, Minn. - The Polars men's basketball team opened their home schedule on Wednesday night hosting MIAC opponent Concordia-Moorhead. Deluce leads the offense as the Polars fall 71-55.

Colby Deluce came out of the gates hot scoring the Polars first five points of the game as the Polars held an early lead. The Cobbers followed with a 10-0 run to take a 13-5 lead. The Polars kept the game within reach for most of the first half, but another late Cobbers run gave them a 41-24 lead at halftime. Crown opened the second half scoring the first eight points to cut the deficit to eleven. The Polars cut the lead to single digits numerous times in the half, but another Cobbers run put the game out of reach. The half was competitive as the Polars won 31-30, but the first half deficit was too much to overcome as the Cobbers won by a final of 71-55.
Deluce finished the game with 18 points going 2-5 from beyond the arc and 8-17 from the field.
Levi Royston finshed with 14 points and 7 boards and
Anthony Knight scored 13 points. Tyler smith went 1-2 from three, scoring 7 points and hauled in 6 rebounds.
After starting the season with five straight road games, Crown goes on the road three more times before returning home for the second time. On Saturday, November 22 the team travels to Winona, Minnesota to play Saint Mary's University at 2:00pm.
