Superior, MN - Superior outlasts Polars in Saturday showdown.
The final match up of the weekend featured Crown men's soccer, riding high after a thrilling 3–2 comeback win on Wednesday. That momentum carried into Saturday's contest against UW-Superior, the top team in the UMAC standings. The Yellowjackets struck first, taking a 1–0 lead into halftime. After key adjustments during the break, Coach Hosler's squad came out energized. Freshman Noah Feneis found the net to level the score early in the second half. But Superior responded quickly, scoring in the 66th minute and converting a penalty kick shortly after to secure the win.
Crown will look to bounce back on Tuesday in a 1:00 p.m. road match against Martin Luther.
