Superior, Wis. — Crown men's soccer was back in UMAC action on a brisk Friday afternoon, taking on the University of Wisconsin-Superior in a conference road match.
The Yellowjackets picked up a 3-0 win, scoring in the 31st, 55th, and 80th minutes. Ashton Hosler helped lead the Crown attack once again, recording four shots, including three on goal, as the Polars looked to break through offensively. His steady pressure gave Crown opportunities and kept the Yellowjackets on alert throughout the afternoon.
In goal, Logan Jacobson turned in another solid performance, making seven saves in his 70 minutes of action. His effort helped keep the Polars within striking distance against a tough Superior side.
Crown will now look to regroup and shift its focus back to its home field, where the Polars return to action on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. against the Martin Luther Knights.
