St. Bonifacius, Minn. - The Polars men's soccer team took on Waldorf in an exhibition matchup and battled to a draw on Saturday night.
The first half of the contest was back and forth as Crown held a slight edge in total shots with 6 compared to just 1 from the Warriors. The second half was much of the same until the 85th minute after an excellent ball in by

Jose Lovera sent a soft touch to the far post in for the first goal of the contest. Just one minute later the Warriors struck back answering with a goal of their own. The Polars got a few more shots off but the final score read 1-1.
Crown emptied the bench as they played a total of twenty six players including three different goalkeepers. The Polars totaled 11 shots on goal in the exhibition with three of them from
Timmy Jackson.
The Polars will open non-conference play next week as they face off with the University of Wisconsin River Falls on the road Friday, August 30th at 5pm.
