St. Bonifacius, MN – The Polars baseball team took down the Rams 14-6 on Tuesday to complete the season series sweep.
After hits from
Mason Brock and
Howie Hatton,
Rhys Dewick smashed a home run to left field to take the 3-0 lead. The Rams answered right back with a two-run home run of their own. Hits from
Matthew Shaugabay and
Drew Girtz helped Crown take the 5-2 lead after 2 innings of play. North Central added on in the top half of the third inning before a two-run blast from
Drew Girtz pushed Crown in front 7-3. Crown didn't look back from their hitting three more home runs on route to the 14-6 victory.

Mason Brock all hit home runs in the contest. Dewick totaled 2 hits and 4 RBI's.
Ethan Habetler finished the day with a solid 3-5 outing and 1 RBI. Five different pitchers saw the mound on Tuesday including
Payton Clevenger,
Liam Jones,
Bryan Bullock,
Caleb Keen, and
Broc Carter.
Crown moves to 6-11 on the season and 4-2 in UMAC play as they will next play at St. Olaf in nonconference play tomorrow April 10th at 3pm.
