Menomonie, WI - The Polars Softball team faced off with Wisconsin-Stout on Wednesday and fell by a score of 15-1.
UW-Stout put up 7 runs in the first inning and didn't look back as Crown fell after 5 innings of play. The Polars totaled 3 hits on the day with
Emmy Romportl,
Katie Vaughan, and
Morgan Aylsworth earning hits. The lone run from Crown came when Romportl scored on an error. Romportl pitched the full 4 innings in the circle and Aylsworth stole a base in the contest.
The Polars fall to 5-26 on the season and will return home tomorrow for a doubleheader with UMAC foe Martin Luther with the first game starting at 3pm.
