New Ulm, MN - Men's Basketball claimed their 6th conference win over Martin Luther on Saturday afternoon 95-61.
Cade Carroll connected with his first two 3-point attempts to give the Polars a quick 6-0 lead to start the game. The Polars stretched the lead up to twenty three points in the first half as they led 50-27 at the break. Crown never trailed in this matchup and was in control from start to finish against the Knights and came out with the win after 40 minutes by a score of 95-61.
Carroll finished with 28 points while adding 5 steals in the contest.
Carter Behne finished with a career high 21 points and 6 rebounds off the bench. Newcomer
Tristan Youngblood went 3-3 from beyond the 3-point line and finished with 9 points for the Polars.
PJ Ebeling led the Polars in rebound with 8 boards on the day.
As a team the Polars shot 45.7% going 32-70 from the field and 36.4% from three point range going 12-33. Sixteen Polars took to the floor throughout this matchup. Â
Men's Basketball travels to Iowa on February 6th for a matchup with Faith Baptist Bible College. The Polars improve to 6-4 within the UMAC and 13-7 overall on the 2023-24 season. Â
