Buckner, Carroll, and Masek Earn All-UMAC Honors

St. Bonifacius, MN - The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference released their Men's Basketball All-Conference teams on Wednesday and the Polars landed 3 players on the list.

Tyrus Buckner earned 1st Team All-UMAC honors after a stellar season where he led the Polars with 18.2 points per game. Buckner set a school record for points in a single game as well in a February 16th contest against North Central where he scored 44 points. In UMAC play this season Buckner led the conference in points per game with 20.5. He was also 2nd in the UMAC in rebounds, field goal percentage, and blocks. He earned 2 UMAC player of the week awards as well.

Cade Carroll earned 2nd Team All-UMAC honors as announced by the conference. Carroll averaged over 16 points per game and 8 rebounds per game on the year. He now sits 4th on the Polars NCAA-era (since 2008) career points list. Jacob Masek earned a spot on the UMAC All-Defensive team. Masek has been a staple of the Polars defense this season.
