Minneapolis, MN – Crown matched up against North Central to open their final weekend of regular season competition within the 2023-2024 season.
Scoring was hard to find within the first quarter of this matchup. Crown ended the first quarter with an 11-8 lead over the Rams. Kendall Clark finished the half with 4 quick points to give the Polars a 25-23 lead at the break. The Rams started on a 6-0 run to open the second half to give them the lead over the Polars. This game was back and forth all game long as North Central claimed the 55-53 win over the Polars within the final seconds with a few clutch free throws.
Mya Morris led the scoring for the Polars with 17 points while adding 4 rebounds and 2 assists. Brayli Reimer added 11 points of her own. Isabelle Sager led Crown with 9 rebounds.
Crown falls to 4-20 on the year and 2-11 in UMAC play. The Polars are back in action tomorrow afternoon as they finish their 2023-2024 campaign at Northwestern.
