St. Bonifacius, Minn. - The Polars men's basketball team faced off with Maranatha Baptist on Friday and came out on top 93-62.
From the jump Crown had the lead as the Polars scored 13 unanswered points to start the game. The lead continued to grow throughout the first half and Crown held the lead 53-25 at the half. The second half was all Polars as 17 different Polars saw the floor and twelve different Polars scored on route to the 93-62 win.
Tyrus Buckner led the scoring with 16 points.
Carter Behne and
John Grigsby both tallied 12 points as both shot the ball very well from three point range.
Parker Behne also scored double digit points with ten.
Tyler Smith led in rebounds with 6 on the night.
Micah Ladd continued to add more assists as he added 7 on the night. Crown shot 36-70 from the field shooting 51.4% and 14-29 from three point range shooting 48.3%.
The Polars move to 5-2 on the season and will next head on the road Monday, December 9th for a 6pm non-conference matchup with Dakota State.
