St. Bonifacius, Minn. - The Polars football team took on Greenville on Saturday and fell by a score of 29-0.
Neither team was able to get on the scoreboard in the first quarter. Greenville scored the first points of the game in the second quarter jumping out to a 13-0 lead after a Crown missed field goal. The second half was all Panthers as Crown fell by the score of 29-0.
Millicent Grear added another tackle for loss to total 15.5 tackles for loss on the season and push past the former Polar great Zach Jusczak who had the record with 15.
Gabe Banks continued his dominant stretch totaling 15 tackles and 8 of them being solo tackles.
Tristan Krank forced a fumble and
Jamoriyon Stephenson tabbed two fumble recoveries.
Chris Nigh tallied 8 carries for 62 yards on the ground and
Donovan Soloman added 7 carries for 27 yards.Â
This concludes the Polars 2024 season as Crown finished the year 1-9 and 1-6 in UMAC play.
