Decorah, IA. - Polars women's basketball faced off against Luther College on the road Wednesday night and fell 78-28.
Luther started out hot knocking down seven of their first eight shots, holding the Polars scoreless in the first quarter 28-0. Crown was able to get on the board in the second quarter when
Jacee Glasgow scored a few buckets to start teh second quarter. The Norse led Crown 47-10 going into the half. Luther led the Polars at the end of the third quarter by a large margin and went on to win 78-28.
Brayli Reimer led the Polars with 12 points on the night while freshman
Jacee Glasgow followed up with seven. Glasgow and
Emma Kingsley tied for the Polars with 6 rebounds each.
With this loss the Polars fall to 0-2 overall on the season. They will host Faith Baptist at home for their home opener this Friday, November 15th at 5:30 pm.
