Mankato, MN - Polars Volleyball headed on the road early Saturday morning for a contest with Bethany Lutheran and the Polars dropped the contest 3-0.
Crown battled early on and took an 11-10 lead in the first set an extended the lead to 17-14 but dropped four of the last five points as Bethany Lutheran took the first set 25-21. The Vikings ended up winning the next two sets as Crown fell behind early and couldn't mount a comeback.
Sydney Cotten led the offensive effort with 8 kills as both
Jocelynn Shockley and
Alyssa Heagney totaled 7 kills. Defensively
Maggie Claussen totaled 29 digs from the libero position.
Kamber Brown led the Polars setters with 19 assists.
Crown will host UW-Stout at home on Tuesday, October 3rd for a 7pm start before heading to Northwestern on Friday.
