St. Bonifacius, MN - The Polars Volleyball team faced off with UW-Stout on Tuesday night and fell in three sets.
In the first set Crown took an early 5-3 lead. After a UW-Stout nine to two run, Crown climbed back to within one point until UW-Stout finished a nine to three run to win the first set 25-18. The Polars fell in both of the next two sets by scores of 25-15 and 25-18.
Alyssa Heagney led the offense with 9 kills.
Shaelyn McNeill and
Kamber Brown led the setters with 11 assists and 9 assists.
Maggie Claussen totaled 24 digs.
The Polars will return to UMAC play on the road this Friday for a contest with the #4 ranked University of Northwestern at 4pm on Friday, October 6th.
